Ørsted and FuturEnergy Ireland have come together to submit a proposal for an onshore renewable energy project near the Bottlehill and Glannasack areas in County Cork.

The planning application for Coom Green Energy Park was submitted in December 2020.

In February 2020 the decision was made to not progress with the inclusion of the landfill area in the project. Since then, we have been revising the layout in order to move forward with the development across the remainder of the site. A planning application was submitted in December 2020.

We hosted virtual public exhibition ahead of our application submission.

The exhibition can be accessed here.

This provided the opportunity to view and comment on the proposals.
